Kids Can Sew is a national program to teach kids age 7 and up how to sew.
We offer classes on:
Mondays from 3 - 4 pm and 4 - 5 pm, Tuesdays from 4 - 5 pm and 5 - 6 pm,
Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm and 4:30 -5:30 pm , Thursdays from 4 - 5 pm, 5 - 6 pm, and 6 - 7 pm,
Fridays from 4 -5 pm, and 5 - 6 pm.
Our student to teacher ratio is 4 to 1.
It is an ongoing enrollment so kids are not all working on the same projects
and there is no competition.
The Kids Can Sew program is designed to teach kids 7 and up to sew.
To do this we start with a pattern packet with Instructions geared towards kids ($49.99) which includes 7 - 8 patterns. This will take them about
9 months to a year to make all of the patterns. Then they have enough skills to branch out to other projects and patterns.
The first pattern we make is a sewing bag so they can bring their things to class in it.
You will be responsible for purchasing the supplies to make each project.
To sign up you choose an available time slot and then come weekly at that time. The cost for the 1 hour weekly class is $10 a class .
