Beginning Quilting with Amanda
New to quilting, or returning to it after some time away? This approachable pattern is a great introduction to quilting! We'll use the Mapleton Avenue pattern by Sassafras Lane Designs to make a quilt, many different sizes are possible.
We will go over every step of the quilting process - fabric selection, cutting, piecing, basting, quilting, and binding. Some work will need to be completed at home between classes.
All sewists ages 16+ with beginner sewing skill and up are welcome, no quilting experience necessary. Minimum 3 participants, maximum 6 participants.
Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
Cancellations must be made a week prior to class to receive a refund or store credit.
