This class is perfect for those who want to learn how to make a practical and stylish project bag that can be used to organize your future sewing projects, supplies, travel essentials or anything you need to see and carry around. There are 4 sizes to chose from and you will learn the following bagmaking skills such as:
- Rotary cutting
- Quilting your fabric
- Working with vinyl for a clear pocket
- Inserting Zippers
- Binding Techniques
- Constructing a Bag
This is a advanced beginner-level class for sewists aged 16 and up. All students should know how to operate their sewing machine.
Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
A supply list will be sent out no later than two weeks before class. You must purchase the Project Bag Pattern 2.0 and it is available at The Electric Needle.
Cancellations must be made a week prior to class to receive a refund or store credit.
