Roll-Top Insulated Lunch Bag
Pack your lunch in style with this roll-top insulated lunch bag! We will learn about boxing corners, attaching hardware, and sewing on thick materials.
The quilting on the outside of the bag is optional and should ideally be completed before class. Bernie would be happy to help you with quilting during the Self-Paced Quilting and Sewing Lab!
This is a beginner-level class for sewists aged 16 and up. All students should know how to operate their sewing machine.
Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
A supply list will be sent out one week before the class.

Instructor Bio:
Bernie Taylor (he/him) is a sewist and multimedia artist from rural upstate New York. He received a B.S. in Digital Arts and Sciences from Clarkson University and an M.S. in Surface Imaging from Philadelphia University, specializing in textile design and inkjet printing for textiles, respectively. His creative interests include color theory, improv quilting, repurposing materials, functional home sewing projects, and making toys and games for his bunny, Frankie. He loves troubleshooting and brainstorming - ask him anything!
