From Sloper to Design Element to Garment
In this series of 3 classes, you will being adding design elements to your garment and sewing a garment/garments from the slopers/blocks you've made in previous Sloper Classes with Teri. She'll teach you how to add your selected design elements to create your unique style, offer expertise sewing advice, and help with understanding your garment construction process.
- Each of you will work on your individual sewing garments.
- Some work will be done at home between classes.
- Pre-planning will be necessary. Bring pictures of design ideas you would like to incorporate into you finished garment.
Class supply instructions will be mailed out 2 - 3 weeks before class. These communications will be sent out via our newsletter system. Please don't delete them or you will not have the information needed for the class.

Freelance Costume Stitcher, Alterations, Custom Dressmaking, Cosplay Costumes, General Sewing, Embroidery, Virtual Sewing Tutor, Sewing Instruction and Sewing Consultant.
Teri has been sewing 50+ years creating beautiful clothing per clients' desires, working as a sample maker/pattern tester for Dos De Tejas Patterns in Texas as well as doing alterations for dry-cleaners, Talbots and various Boutiques throughout Pennsylvania. In 1996 Teri sewed the clothes featured in the New Home Fashion Show with Dos De Tejas Patterns in Nashville, TN. Along the way she also did pattern testing for The Creative Machine Newsletter in 1997.
After moving back to Wisconsin in 2010 Teri changed things up a bit and added sewing costumes for Theatre and Entertainment. She has worked in Costume Shops in NYC, FL, and abroad on productions of Cirque Du Soleil, Funny Girl, Devil Wears Prada, 2019 Madonna Madame X Tour, Hamilton The Broadway Musical, Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, Disney On Ice, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Marvel Universe Live, Sesame Street Live, Disney Live, 2015 Madonna Rebel Heart World Tour, 2015 Madonna Music Living For love Video, Nuclear Cowboyz/Cowgirlz and over 33 productions at The Fireside Theatre.
Her greatest desire is to share her love and vast knowledge of sewing with all sewists who desire to increase their sewing expertise.
