Bring your projects and let's get some stuff done! This open-ended class is an opportunity for you to ask questions and get hands-on assistance with the project of your choosing, or to use the dedicated time and space for sewing to get some focused work in :)
Folks who are looking for assistance with their garment sewing projects should sign up for the Self-Paced Garment Construction Lab with Teri.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.

All sewists ages 16+ with beginner sewing skill and up are welcome. If you are brand new to sewing, we recommend starting with Sewing Machine 101 and Beginning Sewing 101.
Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine. Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.

Instructor Bio:
Bernie Taylor (he/him) is a sewist and multimedia artist from rural upstate New York. He received a B.S. in Digital Arts and Sciences from Clarkson University and an M.S. in Surface Imaging from Philadelphia University, specializing in textile design and inkjet printing for textiles, respectively. His creative interests include color theory, improv quilting, repurposing materials, working with dyes, functional home sewing projects, and making toys and games for his bunny, Frankie. He loves troubleshooting and brainstorming - ask him anything!
