Garment Sewing Techniques Blue Jeans - Getting The Perfect Fit

In this five session Garment Sewing Techniques Blue Jeans - Getting The Perfect Fit we will be making a pair of Relaxed Fit High Waisted Blue Jeans including yoke, pockets, and front fly zipper. This class does require sewing at home as well. This pattern is by DesignLabLDN.

  • We'll do measurements so we can do pattern adjustments,
  • A blue jean sloper will be made first then we will move into fashion fabric for the final two classes.
  • Please keep in mind that all bodies require pattern adjustments and this will be the bulk of the class.
  • Each of you will be adjusting the paper patterns to your measurements.
  • After making a muslin of this pattern Teri will be pin fitting adjustments to each individual explaining why these adjustments are necessary.

  • You'll then correct your muslin and pattern from the pin fitting.

  • You will be making a finished pair of blue jeans in this class depending on your sewing speed.

Class supply instructions will be mailed out 2 - 3 weeks before class. These communications will be sent out via our newsletter system. Please don't delete them or you will not have the information needed for the class.
