Finishing School Lab

So you've assembled your quilt top - what comes next? Finishing School is a lecture and demonstration-based series aimed at helping sewists learn to finish their quilts. There are an abundance of styles, techniques, and tools available to help you finish your projects in your preferred way, and we will cover several possibilities so that you can make choices that are best suited to your project and your working style.

If you have questions about finishing your quilt, bring it in for this hands-on lab! Bernie will be there to answer all your questions, give advice and opinions, and ooh and aah over your beautiful and almost-complete projects!!

All sewists ages 16+ with beginner sewing skill and up are welcome. This class will assume some basic understanding of quilt piecing (assembling the quilt top) and will not cover that subject area.

Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.

Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
