Finishing School #2: Quilting Your Quilt
So you've assembled your quilt top - what comes next? Finishing School is a lecture and demonstration-based series aimed at helping sewists learn to finish their quilts. There are an abundance of styles, techniques, and tools available to help you finish your projects in your preferred way, and we will cover several possibilities so that you can make choices that are best suited to your project and your working style.
Class 2: Quilting Your Quilt
"Quilting" refers both to the art of making quilts and the process of stitching through the multiple layers of a basted quilt sandwich to join them together. We will talk about how you can quilt on your home machine, options for longarm quilting, and techniques for quilting by hand.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
