Beginning Quilting - Squared Up
New to quilting, or returning to it after some time away? This approachable pattern is a great introduction to quilting!
We will go over every step of the quilting process - cutting, piecing, basting, quilting, and binding.
Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.
Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.

Instructor Bio:
Bernie Taylor (he/him) is a sewist and multimedia artist from rural upstate New York. He received a B.S. in Digital Arts and Sciences from Clarkson University and an M.S. in Surface Imaging from Philadelphia University, specializing in textile design and inkjet printing for textiles, respectively. His creative interests include color theory, improv quilting, repurposing materials, working with dyes, functional home sewing projects, and making toys and games for his bunny, Frankie. He loves troubleshooting and brainstorming - ask him anything!
