Placemats make great gifts and are also a fun way to dress up your table seasonally! This project will have us practicing quilting and binding on a small scale before starting on the quilt in Class 11.

This is a beginner-level class for sewists aged 16 and up. All students should know how to operate their sewing machine and have basic sewing skills down.

PREREQUISITE: This class is for students who have already taken one or more of the first three classes in the Beginning Sewing series (Speedy Pillowcase, Lined Drawstring Bag, and/or Simple Strings Apron). Please call the store at 608-422-5449 with any questions about this requirement.

Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine. 

Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.

A supply list will be sent out one week before the class.
