Beginning Sewing with Bernie - Class 05 of 11: Zipper Pouch

This zipper pouch is both endlessly useful and endlessly customizable! Bet you can't make just one ;) We will learn about installing zippers, using fusible interfacing, and (optionally) basic machine applique.

This is a beginner-level class for sewists aged 16 and up. All students should know how to operate their sewing machine.

PREREQUISITE: This class is for students who have already taken one or more of the first three classes in the Beginning Sewing series (Speedy Pillowcase, Lined Drawstring Bag, and/or Simple Strings Apron). Please call the store at 608-422-5449 with any questions about this requirement.

Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.

Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.

A supply list will be sent out at least one week before class. Required supplies include the book School of Sewing by Shea Henderson.
