Improv Quilting 101 - Get Your Curve On

Develop your creative voice with this expressive form of patchwork! Improv quilting is done without rulers or patterns and is a fun, relaxing way to play with color and form. We will use a variety of improvisational techniques taught in Sherri Lynn Wood's fabulous book The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters.

This class will be taught in two sessions; in the first class, we will cut and piece blocks, and in the second class we will discuss layout and assemble quilt tops.

All sewists ages 16+ with beginner sewing skill and up are welcome, no quilting experience necessary.

Bring your sewing machine or call ahead if you need to reserve a classroom sewing machine.

Participants under 18 will need to have a waiver and registration form signed by a parent/guardian.
