Pouch-On-the-Go Club See-It-All Pouch
This club meeting we will teach essential skills in bag-making: selecting materials, working with patterns, choosing stabilizing materials specific to the project, topstitching techniques, working with vinyl and mesh and installing zippers.
Bags are also a great way to incorporate recycled materials.
Each month we will work on making a functional, visually appealing project to share with family and friends or to take with you on errands.
Pouch-On-the-Go Club explores the essentials of bag making through individual pouch projects.
The book we’ll be working from is by comfortstitching blogger, Aneela Hoey. Her book, Stitched, Sewing Organizers, contains fifteen organizational projects. This Club will be working through the pouch section first and then progress to the various types of boxy bags and containers made from fabric.
Supply List will be sent out 1 week before the class.
