Summer Sewing Camp - Travel Pillow Adventures
This half day sewing camp provides a positive and fun environment where kids can gain self confidence; explore their creative side; and learn a life long skill.
While working on our re-purposed t-shirt projects we will explore the themes of travel and nature through the writing of Henry David Thoreau. Campers will get the opportunity to reconnect with nature with weekly walks in the woods of the Grady Tract at the U.W. Arboretum. Campers go home having made new friends, reconnecting with nature and their very own custom made souvenir pillows for future travels.
Afternoon snacks are provided.
Supply List will be sent out 1 week before the class.
Instructor: Maya Cole
